We are delighted to participate for the second time at Liste Art Fair Basel with a solo presentation by Vienna-based artist Sarah Bogner (*1980 Munich, Germany, lives and works in Vienna, Austria).
Sarah Bogner’s painting distills figures and still lifes of fruit and flowers into concise pictorial systems balancing clarity, rhythm, and color. The horse figures appear in her work as reduced yet idiosyncratic agents between figuration and sign, while the still lifes function as counterweights and points of grounding. For Liste Art Fair, she presents a new body of work developed from her 2025 residency in Paris and will elaborate the themes of her recent gallery show Bouquet, transforming the booth into a garden-like space where figures and still lifes intertwine.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sarah Bogner (*1980 Munich, Germany, lives and works in Vienna, Austria) is a painter, part of the publishing house Harpune Vienna and musician. From 2004 to 2006 she studied at the Institute for Electroacoustic and Composition at Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst, Vienna and in 2008 she graduated from the Akademie der Bildenden Künste, Munich.
Her most recent solo exhibitions include Bouquet at Livie Gallery, Zurich, Volley at Gerberhaus Fehring, Austria; Freunde des Lichts at Livie Gallery, Zurich; Unter der Sonne wie im Schatten at Kunstverein Heppenheim, Germany; Arrière Garde at Galerie Christine Mayer, Munich; Contemporary Dialogue with Tobias Hantmann and René Luckhardt, Galerie Bernd Kugler, Innsbruck, Austria; Sein wie ein Stein, denken wie ein Pferd at Milchstrasse 4, Munich; Liebe und Blamage at KiS, Seefeld in Tyrol, Austria; Sarah Bogner, André Butzer with André Butzer at Galerie Bernd Kugler, Innsbruck, Austria; Parade at MQ Art Box, Museumsquartier, Vienna.
She has also been included in various group exhibitions at Secci Gallery in Florence, Ehrhardt Floréz in Madrid, Spurs Gallery in Bejing, Mauer in Cologne, Casa Manno in Alghero, Italy.
