Austin Eddy
Austin Eddy (b. 1986) earned his BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2010. He now lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Since graduating he has exhibited nationally and internationally. His most recent solo exhibitions include: Still Life; Kunstverein Heilbronn. Sad Landscapes, Académie Conti, Consortium, Dijon; Immutable Traveller, Galerie Knust Kunz, Munich; Selected Poems, Galerie Eva Presenhuber, NY; Seeuferweg and In The Off-Hours. at Livie Gallery, Zurich; Songs For The Sun., Galerie Eva Presenhuber, Vienna; Longing for the Light, Love Letters from the Gloaming., Pace Editions, New York; Kunstverein Heilbronn, Heilbronn; Bird Song, De Brock Gallery, Knokke, BE
He has also had solo exhibitions at The Horticultural Society of New York, The University of Kentucky Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky, Half Gallery, New York, and SoCo Gallery, Charlotte, North Carolina. He has also been included in various group exhibitions at Berggruen Gallery San Francisco, The Pit Los Angeles, Shrine Gallery, New York, Alexander Berggruen, New York, Adams And Ollman, Portland, Oregon, Galleri Thomassen, Gothenburg, Sweden. He has also been included in group exhibitions at The Urban Institute of Contemporary Art, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Museum of Contemporary Art, Atlanta, Georgia; The New Hampshire Institute of Art, Manchester, New Hampshire and Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Detroit MI.
Austin Eddy’s upcoming solo exhibitions in 2025 will take place at Dirimart, Istanbul; Knust Kunz, Munich; Wentrup Gallery, Berlin; Ooples And Banoonoos at Baldwin Gallery, Aspen.
